International Recruitment East Programme

International Recruitment East (IRE) is a Government funded programme.

The aims of the 2024/25 programme funding are to:

  • Facilitate in-country matching of overseas recruits who have been displaced by unethical practices or by their employer’s sponsorship license being revoked
  • Strengthen ethical practices in international recruitment and the employment of staff working in adult social care
  • Develop shared solutions to prevent and respond to exploitative employment issues
  • Build on the work of the previous fund

The programme has funded the development of resources during 2023-2025.

 

International Recruitment East is supported by: 

    • The twelve local authorities across the East of England
    • Skills for Care
    • The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) East
